Lane Isom and Thornapple Kellogg senior Ava Crews run as a trio during
the MHSAA L.P. Division 2 Regional hosted by South Christian High School
Oct.26. Armstrong and Isom pulled away a bit over the final 1,000 meters
with Armstrong winning the sprint to the finish with Isom for the regional
championship. All three qualified for the MHSAA L.P. Cross Country Finals
that will be held Nov. 2 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn.

The Harper Creek High
School football team will
host Edwardsburg (6-3) in
a first -ound playoff match
up on Friday, Nov. 1 at 7
p.m.
The Beavers, with a
regular season record of
8-1, can host up to three
playoffs game as long as
they keep winning.
Harper Creek closed out
the regular season on Oct.
25 with a 53-0 win over
Jackson Northwest to win
I-8 Conference title.
If Harper Creek beats
Edwardsburg, they would
then host either Paw Paw
or Niles in the second
round the following week.
