The Harper Creek High School

volleyball brought home back-to-

back district titles with a straight sets

(3-0) victory over Eaton Rapids on

Nov. 7 in Marshall.

“Once we settled into the match,

there was no looking back,” said

Harper Creek coach Terra King.

“The girls executed the game plan,

shook off any rough plays and stayed

laser-focused on their roles. I’m

incredibly proud of how they came

together, keeping their eyes on the

goal and taking it one ball at a time.

Our defense was on point, setting us

up to run our offense effectively.”

Leading the way, Cassidy Pratley

delivered 19 kills, 2 aces, and 8 digs.

Ella Chantrenne followed with 12

kills, 2 aces, and 6 digs. Camille

Robinson, Krista Brannen and

Taegen Anderson each added 4 kills,

with Anderson also contributing 33

assists. Robinson, Anderson, and

Addison Woodruff all came up big

defensively, each recording 12 digs.

“It was a true team effort, and I

couldn’t be prouder of each and

every one of these girls,” said King.
