Nothing came of it.
On Feb.14, 1142, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:8a).
On Dec.25, 1142, envoys from the king of Koryo to the Chin court
thanked for his recognition (Chin shih 4:9a). Since Hsi-tsung had been
emperor since 1135, this had obviously come late.
On Jan.18, 1143, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court. On Feb.3, Hsi-tsung ordered that the protocol for
his birthday and for the New Year’s Day should be the same (Chin
shih 4:9a).
On Feb.6, 1144, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 4:9b).
On Feb.22, 1144, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:9b).
On Jan.25, 1145, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 4:10b).
On Feb.10, 1145, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:10b).
On Feb.13, 1146, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 4:10b).
On Mar. 1, 1146, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:11a).
On June 14, 1146, it became known at the Chin court that the king
of Koryo, Wang K’ai, had died. On Aug.6, Hsi-tsung sent envoys to
condole and sacrifice (Chin shih 4:11a). K’ai was succeeded by Wang
Hsien (Uijong).
On Feb.2, 1147, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 4:11b).
On Feb.18, 1147, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:11b).
On Apr.15, 1147, Koryo envoys to the Chin court thanked Hsi-
tsung for the condolence (Chin shih 4:11b).
On Jan.23, 1148, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 4:12a).
On Feb.8, 1148, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated on
the birthday of Hsi-tsung (Chin shih 4:12a).
On Mar.15, 1148, Hsi-tsung appointed envoys for presenting gifts
to the Koryo court (Chin shih 4:12a).
On Mar.17, 1148, Hsi-tsung dispatched a mission, headed by the
