man-of-the-Palace to congratulate the king of Koryo on his birthday
(Chin shih 7:10b).

at the Chin court. They brought a letter from the king, Wang Hao,
in which he announced that order had been restored in Koryo and
thanked the Chin for not having supported Chao Wei-ch’ung (Chin
