On June 12, 1192, Chang-tsung sent a Supernumerary Gentleman
of the Ministry of Rites with gifts to Koryo (Chin shih 9:15b).
On Oct.5, Koryo envoys arrived at the Chin court to congratulate
on the birthday of Chang-tsung. On Oct.8 was the imperial birthday
but because of the mourning for the Empress Dowager, Chang-tsung
did not hold court (Chin shih 9:17a).
On Jan.9, 1193, Chang-tsung sent the Commissioner of the Palace
Audience Gate of the East to congratulate the king of Koryo on his
birthday (Chin shih 9:19a).
On Feb.2, 1193, Koryo envoys arrived at the Chin court to con-
gratulate on the New Year’s Day. On Feb.4, the New Year’s Day,
Chang-tsung did not hold court because of the mourning for the
Empress Dowager (Chin shih 9:19b; 10:1a).
On Sep.27, 1193, on his birthday, Chang-tsung received the kings
who were related to him, the officials, and the foreign envoys, including
those from Koryo, in the Hall of Great Peace (Chin shih 10:4a).
In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 1194) of the Chin year 1193, Chang-
tsung sent an envoy to congratulate the king of Koryo on his birthday
(Chin shih 10:4b).
On Jan.24, 1194, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 10:5a).
On Sep.16, 1194, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 10:6b).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 1195) of the Chin year 1194, Chang-
tsung sent a Gentleman-of-the Palace of the Ministry of Households
to offer gifts on the birthday of the king of Koryo (Chin shih 10:8a).
On Feb.12, 1195, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 10:8b).
On Oct.5, 1195, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated on
the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 10:10b).
In the 12th month (January 1196) of the Chin year 1195, Chang-
tsung sent the Administrator of the Public Petitioners Review Office
to congratulate the king of Koryo on his birthday (Chin shih 10:11a).
On Feb.1, 1196, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 10:11b).
On Aug.3, 1196, envoys from Koryo were received in audience by
Chang-tsung of Chin and presented letters (Chin shih 10:13a).
On Sep.24, 1196, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 10:13a).
