On Nov.18, 1201, Chang-tsung sent the Disciplinarian of Attend-
ants of the Commander-in-chief of the Army of the Martial Guards
to congratulate the king of Koryo on his birthday (Chin shih 11:10b).
On Jan.26, 1202, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 11:11a).
On Sep.18, 1202, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 11:12a).
On Nov.7. 1202,^96 Chang-tsung sent theVice Commissioner of the
Service Directing the Imperial Hand-drawn Carriage to congratulate
the king of Koryo on his birthday (Chin shih 11:12a).
On Feb.14, 1203, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 11:12b).
On Oct.7, 1203, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated on
the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 11:14a).
In the 10th month (Nov./Dec.) of 1203, Chang-tsung sent the
Commissioner of Food Service to congratulate the king of Koryo on
his birthday (Chin shih 11:14a).
On Feb.3, 1204, the New Year’s day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 12:1a; 135:7b).
On Feb.29, 1204, envoys from Wang Ying (Huijong) of Koryo to
Chin court announced that his father Wang Cho had died and that
he had succeeded him (Chin shih 12:1a).
On Apr.26, 1204, Chang-tsung sent the Commissioner of the Palace
Audience Gate of the West and others to sacrifice to the late king
of Koryo, Wang Cho. He also sent the Commissioner of the Palace
Audience Gate of the East to inquire about the well-being of the new
king, Wang Ying, and to offer gifts (Chin shih 12:2a).
On Sep.25, 1204, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 12:3b).
On Jan.22, 1205, the New Year’s Day, Koryo envoys congratulated
at the Chin court (Chin shih 12:4a).
On Oct.14, 1205, Koryo envoys to the Chin court congratulated
on the birthday of Chang-tsung (Chin shih 12:5b).
On Nov.19, 1205, Chang-tsung sent a Supernumerary Gentleman
of the Ministry of Punishments to congratulate the king of Koryo on
his birthday (Chin shih 12:6a).
