In the 4th month (May) of 634, Shih-wei chiefs were received at
the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5024).
In the 9th month (Oct./Nov.) of 635, Shih-wei envoys offered
regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5024).
In the 11th month (Nov./Dec.) of 707, envoys from Shih-wei chiefs
arrived with presents. It may have been at this occasion that they
offered the T’ang an alliance against the Turks^23 (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5026;Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 347:27a).
In the 10th month (Nov./Dec.) of 709, Shih-wei envoys offered
regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5026).
In the 11th month (Dec./Jan., 712) of the Chinese year 711, Shih-
wei envoys presented regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5026).
In the 2nd month (March) of 713, Shih-wei envoys offered presents
(Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5027).
In the 7th month (Aug./Sep.) of 725, Shih-wei envoys offered
presents (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 2nd (Mar./Apr.) and 10th month (Nov./Dec.) of 731, Shih-wei
envoys were received at the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5028).
In the 2nd month (Mar./Apr.) of 745, envoys of the Yellow-headed
Shih-wei offered regional objects (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
On Feb.14, 747, the New Year’s Day, envoys of the Yellow-headed
Shih-wei congratulated at the T’ang court and offered regional objects
(Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 948) of the Chinese year 747, Shih-
wei presented 60 horses (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 1st month (Feb./Mar.) of 748, envoys of the Yellow-headed
Shih-wei offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 3rd month (Apr./May) of 748, envoys of the Yellow-headed
Shih-wei, Ho-chieh Shih-wei, Ju-che Shih-wei, and Lu-tan Shih-wei,
together with the Black River Mo-ho, presented gold, silver, textiles,
silken fabrics, cow bezoar, human hair, and ginseng (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5030).
On Feb.11, 750, the New Year’s Day, envoys of the Yellow-headed
Shih-wei congratulated at the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5030).
In the 9th (Sep./Oct.) and 12th month (Dec./Jan., 768) of the
Chinese year 767, Shih-wei envoys offered presents (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5031).
