envoys offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5031).
In the autumn and 12th month (Dec./Jan., 773) of the Chinese
year 772, Shih-wei envoys offered presents (Chiu T’ang shu 11:20b;
Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5031).
In the intercalary (Dec./Jan., 774) and 12th month (Jan./Feb.,
774) of the Chinese year 773, Shih-wei envoys offered gifts (Ts’e-fu
yüan-kuei p.5032).
In the 1st (Feb./Mar.) and 12th month (Jan./Feb., 775) of the
Chinese year 774, Shih-wei envoys weren received at the T’ang court
(Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5032).
In the 1st (Feb./Mar.) and 12th month (Dec./Jan.,776) of the
Chinese year 775, Shih-wei envoys offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei
p.5032).
In the 4th (May/June) and 12th month (January 778) of the Chinese
year 777, Shih-wei envoys offered regional objects (Chiu T’ang shu 11:
26a;Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5032).
In the 7th month (July/Aug.) of 788, Shih-wei and Hsi looted Chi-
nese territory (Chiu T’ang shu 199B:9a; Wen-hsien t’ung-k’ao 347:27a).

a mission of ten men, led by the Military Governor of Shih-wei, was
received at the T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5032).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 794) of the Chinese year 793, a mis-
sion of 30 men, led by the Grand Military Governor of Shih-wei,
offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5032).
In the 1st month (Feb./Mar.) of 826, Shih-wei envoys offered gifts
(Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5033).
In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 830) of the Chinese year 829, Shih-
wei envoys offered presents (Ts’e-fu yün-kuei p. 5033).
In the 12th month (Dec./Jan., 836) of the Chinese year 835, a mis-
sion of 30 Shih-wei led by the Grand Military Governor presented 50
horses (Chiu T’ang shu 199B:10a).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 837) of the Chinese year 836, the
Grand Military Governor of Shih-wei and others were received at the
T’ang court (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5033).
In the 12th month (January, 838) of the Chinese year 837, Shi-wei
offered gifts (Ts’e-fu yüan-kuei p.5033).
In the 12th month (Jan./Feb., 840) of the Chinese year 839, the
Grand Military Governor of Shih-wei offered presents (Ts’e-fu yüan-
kuei p.5033).
