Throughout carrying out the assignments given for the subject of algebra, especially
in carrying out the course work given throughout the 1st semester, I have gained a
lot of knowledge and a deeper understanding related to the topics studied including
the topics of linear equation, linear inequalities, linear programming, quadratic
inequalities, quadratic equation, absolute value. Although these topics have been
studied since the 5th grade, there are also challenges that I face when carrying out
the coursework given. The challenge is that less systematic calculation steps cause
the answers obtained to be less accurate. To overcome this problem, I took an
approach by reviewing each step carefully and seeking guidance from teachers and
friends. In the end, we both succeeded in solving the given problem and were able to
share ideas to complete the task. Furthermore, through constant practice and
reference to textbooks and online resources, I increasingly understand how to solve
problems more systematically. Through this course work, I also learned about the
importance of accuracy and patience in mathematics. I realized that algebra is not
just a simple calculation, but also requires logical thinking and proper strategy.
Overall, this experience has increased my confidence in solving algebra problems as
well as motivated me to continue improving my math skills in the future.Basic Algebra has been a foundational subject that helped me
develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The
concepts, such as linear equations, inequalities, and factoring,
have strengthened my understanding of mathematical
relationships. The assignments given were challenging yet
effective in reinforcing the lessons taught in class. They required
consistent practice, which improved my accuracy and speed in
solving problems. Through these tasks, I learned the importance
of logical reasoning and attention to detail. Overall, the subject
and assignments have deepened my appreciation for algebra’s
role in real-life applications and academic growth.
