Jomtien – Bang Saen Beach – 83 km

It was after midday before I got underway. Trying to stay on rural
roads and avoid the traffic between Pattaya and Bangkok was quite
challenging, but I slowly made my way to Bang Saen Beach, Chon
Buri. It's easy to find a $10 room there, and I was happy as the
proverbial pig to be on the road, if only for a few weeks. By sunset, I
strolled the less than 200 metres to the beach and felt privileged to
sit there, toes wrinkling in the sand, watching the sunset.
