EUSA MEMBER ACTIVITIES 2024


EUSA’s 47 European NUSA members govern university sport, working at local,


regional, national, and international levels to empower student-athletes in both


their academic and athletic endeavors.


ELECTORAL


ASSEMBLIES


In March 2024, at the delegates’
meeting of Swiss University
Sports in Ittigen b. Bern the new
management was elected. For
the first time, a co-presidency
led by Lorenz Ursprung, director
of ASVZ Zurich, and Daniel
Studer, Head of University
Sports in St. Gallen was formed.
They’re supported by the newly
elected Vice-President Ophélia


Jeanneret, director of Sport
Santé UNIL + EPFL in Lausanne.

On March 11th, 2024, the electoral
assembly of the Slovenian
University Sports Association
(SUSA) took place and the new
leadership was elected. The
new Executive Board comprises
the President Klemen Kristan
and three Vice-Presidents:
Marjan Pucnik, Alen Nikola
Rajkovic and Patrik Perosa. At
the 1st constitutive session of the
Executive Board, Jan Sredensek

was appointed as the Secretary
General of SUSA.

At the end of March, the Latvian
University Sports Federation
(LUSF) in a hybrid General
Assembly elected the new
management. The presidency will
continue to be led by re-elected
Agita Abele.

On Thursday, April 25th, the
Hungarian University Sports
Federation (HUSF) held its
General Assembly in Budapest.
Mocsai Lajos was re-elected as

HUSF President, continuing to
lead the Hungarian University
Sports Federation focusing
mainly on international sports
diplomacy and bringing as
many international university
competitions to the country as
possible. The MEFS board was
elected for the next four years.

The Estonian Academic Sports
Federation (EASL) held its
General Assembly on the 24th
of May 2024 in Tartu. For the
EASL presidency, Marti Viilu
and Hendrik Voll competed and
