as a result of the vote, Hendrik
Voll was elected as the new
president.
On June 21st, the Italian
University Sports Federation –
FederCUSI, held its first Electoral
Federal in Rome, marking the
1 st Electoral Assembly since
the change of status into a
Federation. Antonio Dima
was re-elected as President
of FederCUSI. In the Federal
Council, Claudio Bertoletti,
Giovanni Randisi, Luigi Mazzone,
Alice Cometti, Massimo Zanotto,
Margherita Mezzetti, Gianluca
Bianchi, Pompeo Leone, Rita
Piantadosi, and Flaminia Calce
were elected.
On the 22nd of June, the
University Sports Association of
Poland (AZS) held its 30th General
Assembly, in the capital city of
Warsaw. During this meeting, Prof
Alojzy Nowak was re-elected as
President of AZS, along with the
new executive board members.
On October 16, 2024, during
the Sports Students’ Union
of Ukraine (SSUU) General
Assembly, the elections for the
new President, took place. Due
to the sudden passing away
of Yevgeny Imas in June this
year, an extraordinary electoral
assembly of the Sports Students’
Union of Ukraine was held. At
the General Assembly, Andrii
Vitrenko, the Deputy Minister
of Education and Science of
Ukraine, was elected as the new
head of the organization that
drives student sports in Ukraine.
Portugal University Sports
Federation (FADU) held elections
for its governing bodies on
October 15th, for the 2024-2025
term. On the General Assembly,
Ricardo Nora was re-elected
to the position of President of
FADU. The inauguration of the
elected officials scheduled for
early November 2024, marked
the beginning of a new cycle of
activities and projects focused
on continuing to strengthen
FADU’s role both nationally and
internationally.
Kosovo University Sports
Federation (KUSF) held the
Electoral Assembly on October
18 in Pristina, Kosovo. With a
unanimous vote, Musa Selimi
was elected to the position of
President of the KUSF.
On November 4th, 2024, the 6th
General Assembly of the Türkiye
University Sports Federation
(TUSF) was held in Ankara,
and the new president of the
federation was elected. With
119 votes out of 184, the Rector
of Bayburt University, Prof. Dr.
Mutlu Turkmen was elected as
the new President of the TUSF
for the upcoming term.
On November 24 and 25, 2024,
the membership of the German
University Sports Federation
(ADH) convened in Goettingen
for its 119th General Assembly
to review the past year, make
forward-looking decisions,
and hold regular board and
committee elections. The ADH
General Assembly included
scheduled elections for board
and committee positions for the
2024 – 2026 term. Delegates
unanimously re-elected Joerg
Foerster, director of University
Sports in Hamburg, as ADH
President, beginning his fifth term
in this role.
French University Sport
Federation (FFSU) held its
Federal Elections from November
25, 2024, to November 29, 2024,
and re-elected Cedric Terret as
President of the association, with
Lola Charbonnier as 1st Vice-
President.

MEETINGS
On the 6th of February, a
delegation from the German
University Sports Federation
(ADH), visited EUSA
headquarters in Ljubljana for a
working meeting. The delegation
consisted of Thorsten Hutsch
(Competition Department and
ADH Sports Director), Sophia
Kunder (Education Department,
Competition Department,
