Student-athletes from 5
countries, representing 11
universities, competed on the
strong sun and sandy courts,
showcasing great abilities and
fair play.

The men’s final saw the
University of Malaga (ESP)
face off against the Hungarian
University of Sports Science,
(HUN) with Malaga emerging
victorious to claim the gold.
The University of Zagreb
(CRO) rounded out the podium,
securing the bronze medal.

The University of Zagreb (CRO)
also claimed bronze in the
women’s competition, while
Karoli Gaspar University of the
Reformed Church (HUN) earned
the silver medal. The University
of Malaga (ESP) capped off an
impressive tournament by taking
gold, standing at the top of the
podium as champions of the
Games.

The Fair Play award in the
women’s competition went in the
hands of Karoli Gaspar University
of Reformed Church (HUN),
while in the men’s competition

Beneath the sunny skies of Debrecen, 172 participants, forming 15 teams


(8 men and 7 women) from across Europe, showcased their skills in the


thrilling Beach version of Handball. With brilliant technical moves and


spectacular goals, the competition on the sand was fierce and action-packed.
