In total, 65 participants
representing 20 universities from
11 countries used their strategic
moves and minds to get to the
top 3 places of the podium.
In Chess, competitors from
both the open and women’s
categories faced off over four
days of intense matches, battling
across blitz individual, blitz team,
rapid individual, and rapid team
tournaments. The competition
was fierce, with suspense
building right up to the final
moves.
In the women’s blitz tournament,
the Bucharest University of
Economic Studies (ROU) claimed
the top spot, finishing just one
point ahead of the closely
matched Budapest University
of Technology and Economics
(HUN) and Hungarian University
of Sports Science (HUN), both
tied with 8 points.
In the open blizz tournament,
Vilnius University (LTU) took
the first place on the podium,
followed by Azerbaijan Sport
Academy (AZE) in second place
and University of Vienna (AUT) in
third place.

In four days of competition, fighting with kings and
pawns, the best of 50 athletes competing in Chess
took home victories and medals.
