emerged as the champion, while
Ozyegin University (TUR) took
silver and the Armenian State
Institute of Physical Culture and
Sport (ARM) won bronze.
In the rapid women competition,
Hungarian University of Sports
Science (HUN) triumphed,
followed by Bucharest University
of Economic Studies (ROU) at
the second place and Ozyegin
University (TUR) at the third
place.
The tournament concluded with
Hungary leading the medal count
with three medals, followed by
Romania, Turkey, and Azerbaijan
with two medals each, while
Lithuania, Armenia, and Austria
each took home one medal.
EUSA and the city of Yerevan,
Armenia, are looking forward
to welcome student-athletes at
the next EUSA Chess event as
part of the European Universities
Championships, to be held from
September 16-20, 2025.
