Exciting, full of energy and
great sportsmanship matches
were played during the 7-day
competition held in Miskolc.

In the women’s finals, we
witnessed an intense game when
the University of Bologna won
against the Croatian University
of Zagreb, securing the gold
medal. The University of Bologna
(ITA) has proven itself true as
a remarkable team, winning
the EUSA Games in 2022, the
EUSA Championship in 2023,
and now again defending their
title at the European Universities

Games 2024. The bronze medal
was well deserved and won by
Ovidius University (ROU).

In the men’s finals, the champion
title went to the University of
Rostock (GER), who won a
thrilling final match against Brno
University of Technology (CZE).
The bronze medal went into the
hands of the West University of
Timisoara (ROU).

The Top Scorer award was
given to Balazs Majoros from the
Hungarian University of Sport
Sciences (HUN) and to Marie

Twenty-seven teams, forming a total number of 393 participants,


representing 24 universities from 13 countries, brought their passion,


energy, and talent to Miskolc, all with one goal: to win the tournament


title of the European Universities Volleyball competition and bring


home medals.
