Huangliu – Changjiang - 128 km
The day unfolded into a delightful cycle through the picturesque
countryside, which was dotted with charming traditional communities.
Here, farmers tended to their fields using time-honoured methods,
their hands skillfully guiding ploughs through the rich, dark soil. As
the sun began to dip, casting a golden hue over the scenery, I arrived
in Changjiang, where welcoming accommodations awaited along the
main road, signalling the end of my day's journey.
To my surprise, the sprawling cities that had loomed in the distance
were not as overwhelming as they first appeared. Upon closer
inspection, their thoughtful design became evident; everything was
neatly arranged, making navigation intuitive. The wide roads, flanked
by lush greenery, provided plenty of room for vehicles as traffic
moved smoothly. The dedicated lanes for cyclists and motorbikes
further enhanced the experience, transforming what could have been
a chaotic urban ride into a leisurely and enjoyable biking adventure.
