By 2609, advancements in materials science (e.g., graphene composites) an d underwater en gineering (inspired by
projects lik e Ocean Spiral or Floating Venice) could make this viable. Thailand’s government, already exploring
flood defenses , could scale this as a pilot in areas lik e Samut Prakan , where flooding is acute. Costs would be high

  • Transparent, Dome-Shaped Structures: These structures would be located on the in itially, but modular design an d local manufacturing (usin g recycled materials) could lower the barrier over time.
seabed, en tirely submerged in water. Transparent domes made from durable,
reinforced glass or syn thetic materials would provide protection of the historic Thai
monuments an d temples with 360-degree views of marine life while keeping them
    safe from external environmental pressures.

  • Coral Reef Protection: The structures would be strategically placed to en hance
an d protect coral reefs or even include artificial reefs as part of their foundation.

  • Circular, • Circular, Biomimetic Biomimetic StructuresStructures: The : The structuresstructures would would have have a circular a circular desdesignign, ,
mimickin g natural forms lik e coral reefs an d sea creatures. The biomimetic design
approach would reduce en ergy consumption an d provide optimal air circulation,
takin g inspiration from efficient natural sys tems.

Each dwelling is a hexagonal pod, in spired by the geometric ro ofs of
Thai temples, with a lightweight, transparent shell made of
graphene-infused bio-polymer—strong, flexible, an d recyclable. The
transparency recalls the opennes s of traditional Thai homes while
offering 360-degree underwater views.
