Buzz Inside the Minds of Thrill-Seekers

(Barry) #1
The sensation-seeking survey reveals five scores: one for each
component of sensation-seeking and a total sensation-seeking
score. For each of the individual components of sensation-seeking
a score of 0–3 is low, 4–6 is average, and 7–10 would be high. For
total scores 0–16 would mean you are a Low Sensation-Seeker,
17–27 is Average Sensation-Seeking and 28–40 would mean you
are a High Sensation-Seeker.
These ranges are simple comparisons to the general population.
Don’t get too worried if your numbers are low or high. Think of the
score as a way to understand the relative nature of sensation-seeking.
There are no right or wrong scores or best way to be. The scores are
just a clue to your individual patternof seeking or avoiding sensations.
