The Grand Egyptian Museum
The Grand Egyptian Museum wasn’t officially open, but we ventured
there to see what secrets it held. It was a most fascinating
experience, as it has over 100,000 artefacts. Unfortunately, the
Tutankhamun collection wasn’t on display while the final touches were
being put in place before the opening in two weeks. Fortunately, I had
the opportunity to witness these magnificent items during a previous
visit. Still, we spent most of the day at the Museum.
