Referring to Diagram 10, lay out
eight of Unit 3 and 24 of Unit 4 in
a ring. Join units to make Round 4. Set
Round 4 into Round 3. Press seams as
desired.

Referring to Table Mat Assembly
Diagram, set a medium or dark
print C piece into each shallow angle of
Round 4. Working outward from C pieces,
add D, D reversed, E, and E reversed
pieces to remaining Round 4 angles to
complete table mat top. Press seams as
desired.

Using diagonal seams, sew together
black print 1^3 ⁄ 8 "-wide bias binding
strips to make pieced binding strip. Bind
quilt with pieced binding strip. For details,
see Complete Quilt, but do not fold
binding in half lengthwise. Instead, fold
raw edge under^1 ⁄ 4 " and hand-stitching
binding in place.
