- HORIBA has launched the Duetta,
a compact fluorescence/absorbance
spectrometer that performs non-
destructive, non-contact analysis. - Agilent’s 870 Laser Direct Infrared
imaging system claims to speed
up analysis times from “hours to
minutes.” - SCIEX announced new applications
for CESI-MS (capillary electrophoresis
with electrospray ionization) in
September, including the proteomics
and metabolomics fields.
- Thermo Scientific launched their
ISQ EM system – offering a mass
range of 10-2000 m/z.
Collaborations
- Bruker has expanded its
collaborations with Bioinformatics
Solutions Inc, Evosep and the
Max Planck Institute for
Biochemistry, Germany. - PharmaFluidics has entered into a
partnership agreement with Thermo
Fisher Scientific. This will allow
the company to combine their own
μPAC technology with Thermo’s
