EUSA MEMBERS


As an umbrella organisation, EUSA is comprised of 46


National University Sports Associations (NUSAs) in Europe,


governing sport in higher education. The members serve on
local, national, regional, European and international levels. The

mission of the EUSA member associations is to improve the
conditions for student-athletes within their country on several

levels, encouraging and enabling them to actively pursue


their university studies as well as engagement in sports.


Electoral Assemblies
Following the conclusion of the
Assembly of the Students Sports
Association of Montenegro
(SSAM) in January, a new
leadership for the next four-year
period was elected, and the
new statutes were adopted. Mr
Ivica Todorovic, Director of the
Career Center of the University
of Montenegro, was appointed
as the new president of the
organisation. Mr Predrag Zecevic
will serve as the President of the
Assembly and Mr Boris Sekulic
as the Secretary General. At
the Assembly, the new statutes
were adopted in line with the

new law on sports, and was
approved by the Ministry of
Sports.

Mr Andre Reis, student at the
University of Lisbon – School of
Economics and Management
(ISEG), was voted in as the new
president of FADU Portugal
University Sport Federation for
2019-2021 following elections
in September, succeeding
Mr Daniel Monteiro. The new
Executive Board, led by Mr
Reis, has nine members. Other
governing bodies that took
office at the start of September
include the General Assembly,

Audit, Disciplinary and Justice
Board. The mandate of the
governing bodies is two years
(2019-2021), coinciding with the
period of a Universiade.

The Electoral Assembly of the
Slovenian University Sports
Association (SUSA) was held
on October 15 in Ljubljana,
electing a new President and
appointing a new Secretary
General. The Assembly elected
former Minister of Education Mr
Igor Luksic as the new President,
while Ms Karmen Sibanc was
appointed Secretary General.
