Following the conclusion of
all three competitions, it was
Switzerland’s Zurich University
of Applied Sciences that earned
the gold medal in the Mixed
Team Competition, followed by
the Czech Republic’s University
Palacky Olomouc in second.
There was a three-way tie for
third place, as Brno University
of Technology from Czech
Republic, Hungary’s Budapest
University of Technology
and Economics and Latvian
Academy of Sport Education
from Latvia shared the bronze
medal.
The second European
Universities Orienteering
Championship will take place
in St Gallen, Switzerland, just
after the very first Orienteering
Competition at the fifth edition
of the European Universities
Games in Belgrade, Serbia.
