medallists in the women’s
team competition, beating
Great Britain’s University of
Nottingham to the title.


In the men’s doubles finals,
Piotr Chodorski and Ihor
Zavadskyi from Poland’s State
School of Higher Education in
Zamosc earned top spot on the
podium following their victory
over Isakov Ilia and Shvets Kirill
from Russia’s Magnitogorsk
University.


Russian duo Ekaterina Guseva
and Ekaterina Cherniavskaia
from Magnitogorsk University
claimed the women’s doubles
title after defeating Carol Klara
and Jazbec Ida from Croatia’s
University of Zagreb in the final.


In the men’s singles finals,
Ibrahim Gunduz from Nisantasi
University in Turkey was named
the overall champion after his
win over Aleksandr Tiutriumov
from Russia’s Magnitogorsk
University in the final, while
Russia’s Ekaterina Okhotnikova
from Kazan Innovative
University Named After
V.G. Timiryasov claimed the
women’s title after beating her
doubles partner Daria Shadrina
in the final match.

The 10th edition of the European
Universities Championship in
Table Tennis will take place in
Olomouc, Czech Republic, while
Table Tennis players will also
be able to showcase their skills
at the European Universities
Games in Belgrade, Serbia.
