combination is not a favourable for
married life. But Jupiter in this case is
in a position to nullify the evil effect.
He is aspecting the 7th house and its
lord and Venus- lord of the rising sign
and karaka of married life, is exalted
in the 6th house. In the first three
cases. Jupiter has no relation with the
7th lord directly. He is only aspecting
the 7th house, whereas in this chart
he is protecting the 7th lord combina-
tion. Thus the difference is clear.
In conclusion, it is obvious that
there are a number of factors to be
judged in a horoscope and we can't
ignore even a single out of them. If
we are examining the chart of a new
born, the position of the Moon is one
of the most important factors, but
other points should not be underesti-
mated. Similarly, for married life, 7th
house, its lord and Venus-karaka of
marriage, are to be considered. Only
taking into account the aspect on one
of them may not help us to have a
clear picture. Above all, Jupiter him-
self should be powerful. If Jupiter is
debilitated or weak in lagna, would he
be in a position to counter the evil ef-
fect? Certainly not. One more point
must be kept in mind that Jupiter is
not a pure materialistic planet. He
gives religious inclination and spiritual
tendencies. In this way, not much ma-
terial gains should be expected from
the benefic position of Jupiter. It is said
that Jupiter protects the planets whom
he aspects and does not remain
much favourable to the houses where
he is posited. Therefore, keeping in
view all these points, a careful exami-
nation of the chart is must. zzz
