Bletchley Park, Britain's code breaking
centre that produced Ultra intelligence.
Turing played a pivotal role in cracking
intercepted coded messages that
enabled the Allies to defeat the Nazis
in many crucial engagements,
including the Battle of the Atlantic, and
in so doing helped win the war. It is
assessed that Ultra intelligence had
shortened the war in Europe by two
years and saved millions of lives. After
the war, Turing worked at the National
Physical Laboratory, where he
designed the Automatic Computing
Machine among the first designs for
a stored-program computer. In 1948,
Turing joined Max Newman's
Computing Machine Laboratory at the
Victoria University of Manchester,
where he helped develop the
Manchester computers and became
interested in mathematical biology.
Turing was prosecuted in 1952
for homosexual acts, when by the
Labouchere Amendment, "gross
indecency" was a criminal offence in
the UK. He accepted chemical
castration treatment, as an alternative
to prison. Turing died in 1954, 16
days before his 42nd birth
anniversary, from cyanide poisoning.
An inquest determined his death as
suicide, but it has been noted that
the known evidence is also consistent
with accidental poisoning. In 2009,
following an internet campaign, then
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown
made an official public apology on
behalf of the British government for
"the appalling way Turing was
treated". Queen Elizabeth II granted
him a posthumous pardon in 2013.
Homosexuality had been
decriminalised in Britain much before,
in 1967.
ASTROLOGICAL COMBINATIONS
FOR HOMOSEXUALITY
Saturn and Mercury are
considered eunuch planets in
astrology. However Saturn tends to
act as a male while Mercury tends to

act as female. Ketu’s lack of desire
for (normal) sex stems from the need
for transcendence. So Ketu gets
involved, indirectly, in promoting
homosexuality. In a natal chart, the
presence of these planets in romantic
houses or signs and their influence on
Venus, indicate the native’s inclination
towards homosexuality.
Classics (Brihat Prajapatya,
Skandahora) contain combinations for
homosexuality. viz (1) Venus & Saturn
in mutual aspect along 1-7 axis. (2)
Venus & Saturn are in Taurus/Libra
and both in Aquarius navamsa. (3)
Venus, Saturn are Capricorn/Aquarius
in rasi but both in Taurus navamsa.
(4) Mars in 7th conjunct with or
aspected by Saturn.
Some more combinations (1)
Venus forming Ithsal with Mars within
half degree. (2) Mercury and Ketu in
7th from karakamsa. (3) Saturn in
Mercury’s sign or vice versa can give
gay tendency whether male or female.
(4) In navamsa Saturn and Mercury
are influencing ascend or the 7th. (5)
Aspect of Mercury and to 7th/posited
in 7th. (6) Saturn in depression or in a
watery sign in 6th or 12th, devoid of
benefic aspect. (7) Saturn in 6th/ /8th/
12th from Venus (8) Moon in an even
sign and Mercury in an odd sign and
both aspected by Mars. (9) Occupancy
of odd navamsa of ascendant, Venus
and Moon. (10) Mars in an even sign
and the ascendant in an odd sign (11)
7th lord Venus in 6th house.
It is important to note that these
combinations are applicable to
individuals and not to any society as
a whole. So while considering the
chart of India, any combination can
be expected to be only partially
applicable, as a miniscule population
comes under LGBT community. Let
us have a look at India’s Annual Tajik
chart (2018–19) which shows the
event clearly.
In rasi Saturn (general public) is
7th/8th lord posited in 6th house of
