Navigating Inzeit almost makes you forget in which direction you’re
scrolling! Objects, images and text slide in and out from left to
right and up and down. This site uses all the techniques discussed
in our ‘scrolling’ section, and executes them very well.

Diagonal is awkward, it doesn’t play along with today’s grid-based
surroundings, but for some reason oblique lines have been pop-
ping up all over the place during 2011. It’s like a kick-back to a
time even before mainstream Internet, and you’ll find other visual
reminders of that era too; odd color combinations, lighting effects,
beige and bronze. Weird.

I can’t help but be reminded of old magazine ads with their
abstract diagonal lines, display serifs, big hair, Joan Collins and
pearls. It’s a look which is oddly appealing.
