Yondr is a small pouch

that locks. Students turn their phones off,
put them in the pouch, and at the beginning
of the school day they get locked up. At the
end of the day, on the way out of school, all
the pouches are unlocked and the students
can go back to playing games, sending
messages, and Instagramming.
The assistant principal said that the idea
for using Yondr came from teachers. They
were tired of spending hours and hours taking
away students phones or telling them to pay

discovered a good way to improve its learning
environment with the introduction of Yondr.
