THE WINNER IS...
I’ve been purchasing delicious. for years, and after finding myself stuck in hospital recently, I read
every page of the February 2020 issue with a new zeal. While I always admire the stunning photos
and interesting columns, I’ve now marked at least 15 recipes to try out when I get home. The real
question is... will I start with Cajun black bean and sunflower burgers (p 95) or world’s healthiest
chocolate cake (p 118)? Maybe both? Cheers, you made my time in hospital not only brighter but
productive! Susan Ryan

ED’S NOTE: Congratulations, Susan! You have won the Sunbeam High Performance Power
Blender, valued at $499. The versatile appliance powers through food prep to blend, knead,
grind, mill, chop and juice your ingredients.

NEXT-GEN FAN: I have every copy of delicious. since
April 2002. There have been many recipes made over the years,
but my three boys love Bill Granger’s one-pot chicken curry
and fruity beef casserole. My eldest was two years old when
I first bought the mag and now he is 20, has his own place
and has just qualified as a chef. I bought him his first
delicious. subscription for Christmas – now we have two
generations of fans! Kylie Cook

SUMMER LOVING: Each summer, I look forward
to the delightful recipes in the party season issues of
delicious. – particularly November. As with many of my copies,
I sit down and mark all of the recipes I want to make and what
party I could make them for. I made the pistachio, raspberry
and rose layer cake (p 122). It was a huge success and I can’t
wait to continue down my list: Valli Little’s Turkish delight
cheesecake (p 114), double chocolate and salted caramel
mud cake (p 121), and the list goes on! Julie Jones
