HOW TO ADD A
SERVER
To add anonline server
in the Java Edition,
load the game and click
“multiplayer” on the titl e
menu, then use the “add
server” button. Putin a
name and the internet
address for the server (it
will probably look a bit like
a website address) then click
“done”. You’ll return to the
main multipla yer pa ge with the
server now visi ble.
To add aserver in the
Bedrock Edition, the process
is similar – load the game, click
on “play” then navigate
to the “servers” tab on
the right. Again, click
the “add server” button
and enter a name and
the server address. You
can leave the port on
the default (15192).
Now click “s ave” and/
or “play” depending on
what you want to do!
The server will appear
in your saved list.
Rememberwhen
joining servers that
you never know what
you’re going to find!
Make sure you have
permission from a
responsible grown-up
to play on a server
and that you never give out any
pers onal information to anyone you
meet online!

learn more about how they operate. You’ll
needto access the web, so check with an

minecraft-server.netEach one is di fferent, so don’t be afraid to
try out afew, and feel free to move on if you
don’t like it or feel unsafe. You might try ou t
loads before you find one you en joy!
