HOW TRADING WORKS

Trading has been slig htly altered, so first we needto te ll
you howit works. The important thing is that the ba sics
remain the same – you can swap emeralds with villagers
for goods that re late totheir pr ofession. Now, however,
there are aLOT more professions, and they’re recognised
by different insignias andclothing, instead of robe and
apron colour.
Each villager has 8-10 trade slots, with a numberof
different trading options per slot.
Each trade can be made a set
numberof ti mes before it gets
disabled, and villagers must return to
their workstation to regenerate the
trade slot.
Another new gameplay feature
is that the more you make a trade,
the more the pr ice will go up due
to demand. The Hero of the Village
status effect, which you get by
saving the village from a raid, will
apply a discount to a pr ice as
long as it doesn’t take it below
one emerald.
When you trade with a
villager, both th e player AND
villager receive experience.
When the villager has
enough experience,they’ll level up
and unlock new trades. There arefive
experience levels for a villager, which are
represented by their badge colour:

Novice -Level 1, stone badge
Apprenti ce -Level 2, iron badge
Journeyman -Level 3, gold badge
Expert -Level 4, emerald badge
Master -Level 5, diamond badge
