EVENTS: DEALS & DEALMAKERS AWARDS 2020

judges will be looking at factors
including innovation. Individual
lawyers or teams at individual
firms can be nominated.
The Early Stage Deal of the
Year Award category recognises
investment capital, the level and
quality of the syndication of the
investment, the scale of the market
opportunity and potential return
for investors, and the role of the
management team and its advisors.
The judging this year will again
involve three stages before the
overall Deal of the Year is chosen.
Entrants will register their initial
interest online and then be asked
to complete a questionnaire setting
out the detail of the deal or deals
involved and their contribution to
them. The deadline for completed
questionnaires is 20 May.
Those who make the shortlist
will be interviewed by the judges
on 23 June. This year’s winners will
be announced at the Insider Deals
and Dealmakers Awards Dinner
on the evening of Thursday 10th
September at the Doubletree by
Hilton Hotel Glasgow Central in
Cambridge Street, Glasgow.
