272 chapter 8 ■ ZBrush Movies and Photoshop Composites
Figure 8.9 Set a second keyframe. At least two keyframes
are necessary for animation.
- Now let’s change the position of the head at the
last keyframe. Move the timeline to the last key-
frame. To delete a keyframe, click and drag it off
the timeline. Reposition the head and set a new
keyframe by clicking in the timeline. Or you could
move to the last keyframe, position your head,
then Ctrl+Shift-click the keyframe to replace the
stored information with the new head position.
To delete keyframes, click and drag them off the timeline.
If you want to delete multiple keyframes, simply hold
down Shift and select each one. When all the frames are
selected, drag them off the timeline. ZBrush will ask if
you are sure you want to delete multiple keyframes before
the operation is completed.
- At this stage, you can save just your timeline
by choosing Movie → Timeline → Save and
then save the timeline frames in a ZMO file.
Remember, if you save a project timeline, frames
will automatically save with your work. If you
save your timeline separately, you can load the
keyframes independently of the tool you have
active. This means you can apply the same ani-
mation to any number of ZTools.
