“Horrible, horrible user interface,” he said. “How does one expect to
use a thermostat like this?”
J.K. was deliberately using the thermostat as an allegory for Samsung’s
software failures. T.J. recalled him saying that he didn’t “trust the software
people in Samsung to create anything that could be used by any human.”
T.J. was prepared for a tirade from the mobile chief. But J.K. calmed
down and watched the demonstration of Milk with interest.
“Why can’t others do the same thing?” J.K. asked. “Good job,” he told
T.J., who left the conference room feeling vindicated.
