runways,Kermitgreenwastheshadeofchoiceforpuff-sleevedfrocksatRejina Pyo and supersized bags at Bottega Veneta, as well as

being spotted at Michael Kors, Gucci and Balenciaga. Meanwhile, algae is being heralded as a new way to save the planet, as product

designers Eric Klarenbeek and Maartje Dros, working with think tank Atelier Luma, have created an algae polymer that could replace

plastic in everything from shampoo bottles to bins. You can even eat the stuff, as algae is also proving popular as an ingredient in the new

food fad sweeping Hollywood: ‘seaganism’ aka a vegan diet incorporating sustainable seafood; sure to be making a splash here soon.
