Builders Warranty program, which offers a
10-year warranty on some parts of the
house and one- and two-year warranties on
others. Sturbridge makes a visit after 11
months to correct any faults that have

Sturbridge, which specializes in develop-

Buying NewWrightmoore

BY ROY FURCHGOTT

When the three sibling partners of Stur-
bridge Homes saw the opportunity to buy
and develop a wooded lot in Hanover, Md.,
they pounced. “What makes this unique is
its seclusion,” said Gina DeStefano, who
runs Sturbridge with two brothers and a
fourth partner.
Wrightmoore is a 12-lot enclave tucked
into a forested nook that screens it off from
surrounding residential and commercial
development, including hundreds of
homes at the adjacent Villages of
Dorchester.
Wrightmoore single-family houses are
two stories with a full basement (some have
walkout basements) and a two-car garage.
The architectural style might be described
as a contemporary interpretation of Colo-
nial.
The houses, all variations on one floor
plan, are clad in vinyl siding and come
standard with a poured-concrete founda-
tion that is stamped with a brick pattern
