AUDI E-TRON GT
Following the success of the E-tron,
Audi’s first big all-electric SUV with
an impressive 250-mile claimed range,
the German marque is about to bolster
its line-up with this GT version. More
‘dynamic’ than the faux-by-four, this
lithe sportster is set to pack a total of
582bhp from its twin-motor setup. And
more significantly than that, this is slated
to be the car that will usher in proper
wireless charging tech for cars.

BMW i4
Although not necessarily a luxurious
grand-touring barge, the BMW i4 looks
set to be a keen Tesla Model 3 rival. With
530bhp available from just one rear motor
in ‘performance’ mode, BMW claims it can
smash 0-62mph in 4 seconds and offer a
real-world range of 370 miles or so. Trick
aero capabilities, a curved infotainment
screen and the excellent underpinnings
of the 3 and 4 Series are just a few reasons
to start saving.

POLESTAR PRECEPT
The Swedish Volvo offshoot has been
on fire recently, producing jaw-dropping
designs that are ready to shake up the
EV world. Its four-door GT concept, the
Precept, is as gorgeous as any... and
comes dripping in tech. That lump on
the roof is a LIDAR module for advanced
autonomous driving systems, while
the next generation of Google’s HMI
will predict user inputs and act as an
always-on virtual assistant.

Taycan a back seat
Two rectangular
holes in the battery
pack make room for
the rear passengers’
feet. They’re called
‘foot garages’.
