Why is breakfast
so important?

body. Thin kofitasbrain power.”

M

any people say breakfast is the most important meal
of the day–who canresist fresh fruit, warm toastwith
jam,ice-cold orangejuice, creamy porridgeor maybe even
afullfry-up?
Sometimes you might onlyhave time foraquickbowl of
your favouritecereal, but on occasion it’snicetoslow things

schools areclosed forawhile, you’ll haveabit moretime in
the mornings to plan breakfast.

making thembreakfast forachange? Children’scooking
consultantKate Morris says,“Whetherit’sbreakfast in bed
for your parents or for your brother or sister if they are

Atop tip is to prepare things thenight before, so that
everything isready to go when youwake up.Set the table

“One of myfavour ite breakfast dishes is based on a

paprikatoserve, andawholegrain tortillaorbread to soak
up all the lovely juices.”
