A Rich History. A Sustainable Future.

rown paper packages tied up with string, in addition to serving as
one of the twentieth century’s most hummable moments, are in many
ways more relevant than ever. Increasingly, American consumers want to
do their part in protecting the planet and building a more sustainable
future. By using paper, they’re learning that recyclable, innovative
materials for packaging and being productive at work, home, and school.
For some consumers, choosing paper means recycling a cardboard box
or a newspaper insert. For others, it means choosing a plantable greeting
card made from recycled paper and organic seeds.

And for the paper and packaging industry, it means drawing upon a rich
history of paper recycling and environmental stewardship to plant new
trees and nurture innovative uses for a humble yet essential part of the
fabric of daily life.
