Jay

This jay is part of the crow family, but it’s more colourful

than its raven and rook cousins! It has striking blue and black

stripes on its wings, and you can sometimes spot a flash of

its white underbelly as it jumps from tree to tree. Listen out

for its harsh, strident call, or see if you can spot it burying

acorns in the autumn as a food bank for winter.
