When you’re happy with the
result, as shown in the preview area
to the right in the Content-Aware Fill
workspace, select Current Layer in the
Output To drop-down menu in the
Output Settings section, and click OK
to apply it. Cancel the selection, and
clean up any odd fill lines by using the
Clone Stamp tool (S) or Spot Healing
Brush tool (J).
Step Five: Reveal both Lighthouse
Body layers and create a new layer
above them named “Reference Line.”
Grab the Brush tool (B), and reduce
its size to 5 pixels and increase its
Hardness to 100% in the Options Bar.
Press D to set the Foreground color to
black. Click once below the walkway
above the top center of the upper-
most window. Hold down the Shift
key, and click the base of the light-
house directly below the center point
of the bottommost window. Photo-
shop draws a straight line between
the two points that will serve as a ref-
erence line in future steps.
