Nora Attal,
Morocco, United

Kingdom
Born and raised in culturally diverse
south London, Attal felt deeply
connected to her Moroccan heritage.
“I’m part of a generation of young
British people who’ve grown up with
parents who are immigrants, who’ve
seen different perspectives,” says
Attal, 20, who has appeared on the
covers of British Vogue and Vogue
Arabia. “My parents spoke to me in
Arabic and kept many of their
traditions alive—even small things
like having mint tea in the evening.
Experiencing all of that has made
me who I am now.”
