ROSY OUTLOOK

“There’s this idea that at a certain age,
women can’t wear bright eye shadow
or lipstick. But guess what? It’s not
true,” says Linter, calling out shades of
soft peach and pink as a youthful
alternative to more neutral lids. To keep
shadow from appearing too flat, Linter
recommends applying pigments in
an ombré gradation, beginning at the
outer corner and gradually getting
lighter toward the inner corners to
make the eyes look “more elongated
and lifted.” And don’t skip the lash
curler. “Curled lashes provide definition
that brings out the eyes even further.”
