You also use this expression to create a custom grouping with the combined fields. To group the
Columns area on the expression, right-click ColumnGroup in the Row and Column Groups area of the
report and select Group Properties Place the preceding expression in the Group On section, and click
OK. Next, left-align the Estimated_Cost field, and set the formatting to Currency, as demonstrated in the
previous section. When you preview the report, you can see that the Matrix shows the estimated cost of
care for the familiar patients for each month they had service, as shown in Figure 4-21.
