folk-art illustrations and vast

catalogue of popular picture

The Bologna Children’s Book Fair

organizers, following the cancellation

of the fair, are launching a series of

digital initiatives on May 4. These

include a virtual book fair, complete

with stages and exhibitions, and the

Bologna Children’s Book Fair Global

Rights Exchange, a

platform that will offer opportunities for licensing

facilitated through PubMatch.

Porter Square Books in Cambridge, Mass., was

named this year’s PW Bookstore of the Year. Texan

Bob Barnett, a sales representative for

25 years, was named Rep of the Year.

Bertelsmann has completed the

acquisition of Pearson’s remaining

25% stake in Penguin Random

House, making it the sole owner of

the world’s largest trade publisher.

The sale, which was announced

last December, was valued at

approximately $675 million.

Turner Publishing is

launching Keylight Books,

an imprint focused on

fi ction that the publisher believes is

ideal to adapt into movies, TV shows,

and streaming content. Keylight’s fi rst

title, All the Acornson the Forest

Floor, is set for September.
