he plays a bigger antagonist role,
linking AVALANCHE to the war with
the Wutai. He also puts funds into
Professor Hojo’s Mako experiments,

the mind behind the SOLDIER
project, infusing humans with Mako
energy to make them superpowered.
Plus, he has many other projects
hidden away. He might be an asset to
Shinra, but he dreams big, always eager
to conduct his own experiments
regardless of what might be responsible.

Rude is the sterner and more
serious of the duo. While he’ll usually
let Reno take the lead when they’re
together, he’s not afraid to get involved
with his fists himself. He’s able to
even keep both Cloud and Aerith on
the ropes going against them alone, so
