Kirstie Allsopp’s The Handmade
Festival returns later this year
(11-13 September 2020) showcasing
all things creative. If you’re tempted to get
hands-on and try out a new skill, then this
year’s event – which takes place at Evolution
London, Battersea Park – is sure to have
something to inspire you.
Whether you’re keen to improve or indulge
in a current pastime or to get a taster of
something new, you’ll be bowled over by
what’s on offer. With over 300 passionate
exhibitors providing more than 150
demonstrations, talks and skills workshops
on everything from baking and upcycling to
sewing, wellbeing, and even pottery. Plus the
Shopping Villages and Artisan Market Place,
where you can discover new makers and stock
up on gifts and supplies to enjoy at home.

LEARN A NEW SKILL


This year, the event will feature
contemporary crafts, such as printing,
modern calligraphy and paper cutting; the
best of traditional British craftsmanship
and heritage skills; all things food and drink,
and homes and gardens, as well as talks and
demonstrations designed to inspire you to
make more time for yourself and to boost
your general wellbeing. There will also
be a plethora of sewing and textile exhibits,
where you can pick up a new skill or simply
add to your fabric stash.
