Cancelled Concerts
GLOBAL megastar Madonna is just one of
many musicians who have halted their tours
because of the outbreak. It’s still weeks
before the 61-year-old Material Girl is due to
perform but she has been forced to call off
her gigs due to crowd restrictions imposed
by France.
Miley Cyrus also cancelled her appearance
at the Australian Bushfire Relief concert
in Melbourne due to the outbreak.
Tweeting her disappointment, the
27-year-old star said, “Australia: Due to
the recommendations of local, state, federal
and international government authorities,
including the Centre for Disease Control, to
reduce potential health risks in response to
thecurrentglobalhealthcrisis,weareno

longer travelling to Australia for the show.”
Mariah Carey has also decided to puh b k
her Hawaii concert date in to Novem
to travel restrictions. The 49-year-old
megastar released a statement on In

announce that I’m postponing my sh

international release until August.
Sony Pictures announced the new
date due to the movie’s box office
success outside of the US.
[ DISNEY’S live-action movie Mulan
has had its Chinese release date
delayed indefinitely. The 32-year-
old star of the movie, Liu Yifei,
who originally hails from Wuhan in
China says, “I’m really hoping for a
miracle and that this will just be over
soon.”
[ OTHER movies affected by
the outbreak include Sonic The
Hedgehog (China release), The Invisible Man
and Disney’s Onward (Italy release).
