declared anational state ofdisaster. Our
schoolsandvarsities are closed, allnon-
essential international and local travel
has been cautioned against, public
gatherings of more than 100 people are prohibited and
most companies have let their staff work from home. I’ve
never seen anything like this before! My husband and I
had plans to visit my family in London in June, but I guess
that’s off the cards now.
And of course not even our super-human celebs are
immune to the panic. Take a look at how COVID-19 is
affecting Tinseltown on pages 20 and 21. Concerts are
being cancelled, movies are being postponed, and stars
are going mask crazy (wait till you see Naomi Campbell!).
If you feel ill it’s been suggested that you self-isolate. The
symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough
and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people
and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties. To
